The Grand Opening Ceremony Held for 
Renaming Wuzhou Shenguan Protein Casing Co., Ltd. as
Guangxi Shenguan Collagen Biological Group Co., Ltd.  

On October 25, the grand opening ceremony of Guangxi Shenguan Collagen Biological Group Co., Ltd. was grandly held at the Fudian production base of Shenguan Group. Leaders and guests from the municipal government and relevant departments, financial institutions, peer companies and friendship chambers of commerce and associations were present at the ceremony. Zhong Changzi, Mayor of Wuzhou, and Zhou Yaxian, Chairman of the Board of Shenguan Group, jointly unveiled the plaque. Wuzhou Shenguan Protein Casing Co., Ltd. was officially renamed Guangxi Shenguan Collagen Biological Group Co., Ltd., marking the all-round implementation of Shenguan Group’s product diversification strategy in the collagen biotech field, opening a new chapter for Shenguan Group!

As a core member of Shenguan Holdings Group (stock code: 00829), Guangxi’s first industrial enterprise listed in Hong Kong, Wuzhou Shenguan Protein Casing Co., Ltd. was transformed from the former State-owned enterprise Wuzhou Protein Casing Factory in 2004. The transformation aroused the awareness of market competition and stimulated the vitality and innovation capability across the enterprise. Seizing the opportunity of listing in 2009, it scaled up production and expanded market presence at an amazing typical speed of Shenguan, achieving a domestic market share of more than 80% and an international market share of over 30%, realizing the dream of China’s Shenguan!   

In the 13th Five-year Plan period, Shenguan Group established the strategy of product diversification with the collagen technology as the core, maintain its leading position in China’s collagen protein casing industry and extending the development of collagen food, collagen skin care products and collagen medical devices, launching the third venture of Shenguan Group. 

Built on the core collagen technologies accumulated over the past four decades, Shenguan has laid a solid foundation in the health industry through the 13th Five-year Plan, and a number of collagen food, collagen skin care, medical collagen and medical devices products are at the leading level of the industry, and created a good momentum of development in which collagen protein casing is at the core and supplemented by collagen food, collagen skin care products, and collagen medical devices.
